In that time, Doug Shade has earned Master Hunter titles on over 75 dogs and has qualified over 100 times at the Master National. Of these dogs, 22 have earned the prestigious honor of being inducted into the Master National Hall of Fame. Our Program Our Hunt Test training program is very intensive and is recommended for those owners who are serious about competing in AKC hunt tests and who are looking for top flight gun dogs. This program requires a great deal of time and is not recommended for the occasional hunter. With this program your dog will be trained to mark the fall of multiple birds. He/she will also be trained to respond to hand signals, whistle blows and voice commands.
